For many years the familiar number 54 stock car of Morrisett Farms has campaigned the dirt tracks of the region, and earlier this fall the team notched a win in one of the most competitive street stock events in the nation.

During the weekend of Sept. 25 and 26 the Camaro street stocker owned by Charles and Carolyn Morrisett, and driven by Peyton Taylor of Batesville, won the prestigious Schoenfeld Headers Mid-American Street Stock Nationals at the Batesville Motor Speedway.

Crew members for the Morrisett Farms team include Marvin Kilbreath, Russell Kilbreath and Zach Baker.

The Batesville Motor Speedway is located at Locust Grove, Ark. about seven miles west of Batesville on Highway 25. The track hosts regular Friday night shows throughout the year, along with several special events such as the Street Stock Nationals and the annual Comp Cams Topless 100.
