Mary Francis Henson

Mary Francis Henson, 66, of Plainview, Ark., formerly of Piggott, died Monday, May 18, 2009 at her home. She was born August 30, 1942 in Clay County to the late Frank Gower and Nola Elizabeth (Conley) Parker. She attended Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Plainview, and for many years she and her husband operated Henson Bait and Tackle Shop on Nimrod Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jesse Henson; son, Monty Henson of Plainview; daughters, Renae Henson of Plainview and Terri Hunt and husband Michael of DeQueen; grandchildren, Amber Chandler and Clayton Hunt and great-grandchildren Audrey Bell and Logan Chandler.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 1 at the Carter Cove Cemetery with Rev. Stacy Lisenbey officiating.

Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville was in charge of the arrangements.
