Robert F. Hall, 75, of Piggott, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at the Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born Oct. 17, 1932, in Boydsville, the son of the late Randall and Nova (Duckworth) Hall. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Davis on April 17, 1986.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joel Dwight Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Hall of Piggott; his children, Robert D. Hall, Becky Erwin and Marcus Hall, all of Piggott; three stepchildren, Tina Huneycutt and David Maulden, both of Piggott, and Troy Maulden of Corning; four grandchildren, Bryan Erwin, Jacob Lockard, Derek Hall and Daniel Hall; 10 step-grandchildren, Megan, Tia, Stephanie, Melony, Victoria, Adam, Tesla, Hattie, Christian and Dylan; a brother, Billy Hall of Piggott; a sister, Ellen Brannon of Rector, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 25, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Bill Newman officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Daniel Hobson, Raymond Dismukes, David Maulden, Troy Maulden, Tim Berogan and Bo Latimer. Honorary pallbearers were Eugene Parks and Vernon Willie. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
