The Piggott Mohawk junior league baseball team saw their season end this past weekend, as the squad came up just short of advancing in postseason play. The squad, which was coached by Billy Joe Seal and Tim Gunn, finished with an overall record of 21-9, were conference champs and finished as the runner-up in the NEA area tournament.

Team members included Matt Burdin, Keifer Gunn, Kyle Hardin, Jim Copelin, Logan Murray, Jake Scott, Clayton Cole, Spencer Coomer, Zac Howell, Conner Rodery, Zac Redmon and Enoch Richardson.

Seal offered the team's thanks to the Piggott Little League for their support, especially the parents, and to the Piggott Parks and Recreation Department for their care of the ball fields.

"It's been a successful year, and I appreciate how hard these kids have played," Seal noted, "I wish them the best of luck in the future."
