Ms. Moore was born March 7, 1918, in Clarkton, to Charles Thomas and Sybil King Dickerson.
She was a member of Langley Methodist Church, but attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Harviell after moving to Poplar Bluff. She was a nursing assistant at Children's Hospital in St. Louis, prior to her retirement in 1971.
On Nov. 23 1938, she married James Patterson Moore in Piggott. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1989.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Williams and her husband Wes, of Denver; a son, George Moore and his wife Mary Lou of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren, Jason Williams, Staci Maldonado, Stephani Williams, Tom Moore, Becki Yetman, Cindy Moore, Eddie Fiske and Sarah Armes; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Greene, and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Michael Jerome Moore; a great-grandson, Christopher Arvel Fiske, and two brothers, Earl Charles Dickerson and John Wesley Dickerson.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 16, at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott with Elder Ron Daughhetee officiating. Burial followed in the Gravel Hill Cemetery at St. Francis.
Pallbearers were Tom Moore, Ronald Ficke, Sean Sutton, Eddie Fiske, Larry Arme, and Michael Yetman.
Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
