Mr. Allen Leon Hatcher, 69, of Astor, Fla., died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007. Born in Clay County, he moved to Astor from Port Orange, Fla., in 1981. He was a truck driver. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Astor and was a well known country music entertainer. He was Baptist.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Delores Hatcher of Astor; son Alan K. Hatcher, Mount Dora, Fla.; daughters: Valerie Longo, DeLand, Fla., Verla B. Browning, Liberty, Ind., Vicki MacIsaac, DeLand, FL, 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 6, at the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Astor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 536665, Orlando, Fla. 32853-6665.
