William Harold Poe, 72, of Greenway, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at the Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born July 7, 1935, in Leachville, Ark., and was the son of the late Mannie and Maudie Youngblood Poe.

He was married to Juanita Roberts on July 2, 1965, and they had one son.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Jim, Richard, Paul, Bud, and Leon Poe; three sisters: Helen Sink, Norma Jean Smart, and May McCann.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Poe of Greenway; his son Darren Poe and wife Elizabeth of Greenway; three grandchildren: Joshua, Kristen, and Emily Poe; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Friday, with funeral services following on Saturday, July 28, in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Boyd Wicker and Richard Tippitt officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway. Pallbearers were Leroy Chavez, Elvis Chavez, James Diddle, Tim Roberts, Allen Smart, Jack McCann, Dean Pemberton, and Brent Spinks. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
