Kathryn Wilcox, 81, died Sunday, June 3, 2007, after a battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Mary Kathryn Wilcox was born Aug. 5, 1925, to Ed and Bessie Curtis Wright in Rector. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouses and her sister.

Wilcox lived and worked in Paragould the majority of her life. She was active in Paragould B & PW and a member of First Baptist Church. An avid bowler, her teams won several league championships. She enjoyed fishing, travel and being with her grandchildren.

Wilcox is survived by three daughters; Barbara Arnold and husband Alvin, Sharon L. Walton of Paragould, and Kathy Winberry and husband Larry of Piggott; five grandsons, Todd Dearing, Nicki Arnold of Paragould, Cliff Winberry of Piggott, Clay Winberry of Oxford, Miss., Craig Winberry of Bentonville, Ark.; and one granddaughter, Shayla Blackford of Paragould. She is also survived by seven great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter and a host of friends and relatives.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 5, at Paragould Memorial Gardens under the direction of Heath Funeral Home.

The family request that in lieu of flowers remembrances be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, First Baptist Church, Mission Outreach or Meals on Wheels.
