Eulalia Haywood

Eulalia Haywood, 84, of Greenway, died Friday, June 8, 2007 in Murphy Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Piggott.

She was born on April 2, 1923, in Rector, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Bain Sinko.

She was married to Glen Dale Haywood on Oct. 12, 1941 and they had two children. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2000.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Haywood; four brothers: Donald, Elbert, Ezra, and Bob Glasgow; and three sisters: Virginia Haywood, Juanita Cunningham, and Geneva Walker.

She is survived by one daughter, Danna Haywood of Piggott; one daughter-in-law, Debby Haywood of Piggott; four grandchildren: Heath Haywood, Susan Rodery and husband John, Kim Green, and Andy Haywood and wife Ashley; three great-grandchildren: Michael Haywood, Connor Rodery and Caroline Rodery; two brothers: Bill Glasgow and Jim Glasgow; two sisters: Louise Smith and Ann Simmons; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Sunday, June 10, with funeral services following in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, with Tim McCluskey officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway. Pallbearers were Heath Haywood, Andy Haywood, John Rodery, Connor Rodery, Matt McCluskey, and Tim McCluskey. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
