Myers was born in Covington, Tenn., and moved to the Palm Harbor area in Sept. 2000, from Corning Ark. He was a Methodist, a past mason, and worked as a grocer.
He is survived by three children, daughters, Marilynne M. Sills of Palm Harbor, Margaret McBride of Sarasota, Fla., son, Tucker Myers of Piggott; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 17 at the Eternal Rest Memories Park and Funeral Home in Dunedin, Fla.
