Paul A. Coffel, 92, of Holcomb, Mo. died Friday, March 30, 2007, at the NHC Nursing Center, in Kennett.

Mr. Coffel is survived by his wife of 68 years, Verla Coffel of Holcomb; one daughter, Barbara Allyn of Omaha, Nebr.; two sons, Dannie Coffel and wife Carol of Haughton, La., and Kent Coffel of St. Louis.

He also leaves one sister, Alice Webb of Poplar Bluff: 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Mr. Coffel was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bertie Long Coffel; one brother, Virgil L. Coffel; and a daughter, Carolyn Williams of Holcomb.

Visitation was Sunday, April 1, in the Hoggard and Son's Funeral Home in Piggott. The funeral followed in the Hoggard and Son's Chapel. Dan Coffel and Spencer Furby of the Fourth and Slicer Street Church of Christ presided. Burial is at Stanfield Cemetery, in Clarkton.
