Larry Ferman Sutfin, 61, of Brookland, formerly of Piggott, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born Feb. 19, 1946, in McDougal, and was the son of the late Eulas and Geraldine Hooper Sutfin.

He was united in marriage to Barbara Dees on Nov. 4, 1967, and to this union four children were born.

He was a member of the Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Bono.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sutfin of Brookland; three children, Deanna Hester and husband Kevin of Jonesboro, Dion Sutfin and wife Sarah of Bono, and Noel Sutfin and wife Anna of Brookland; five grandchildren, Ashley, Tori, Skylar, Bobbi, and Drake; one sister Francis Warbritton of Poplar Bluff; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Friday and funeral services were held Saturday, March 10, in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Byron Griffey, pastor of the Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott were in charge of the arrangements.
