Gloria Jean Beaver, 63, of Piggott, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at her home.

She was born April 10, 1943, in Beech Grove, Ark., and was the daughter of Ray Dallas Lovelady and Anna Mae Eubanks.

She was united in marriage to James Beaver on Oct. 14, 1962, and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by her husband James of Piggott; two children, Teresa Beaver of Piggott and Keith Beaver and wife Jerri of Oak Grove, Ark.; granddaughter, Shayna Beaver of Paragould; step granddaughters, Morgan Hollis and Shania Kibler both of Oak Grove; brother, Weldon Lovelady and wife Helen of Corning, Ark.; sister, Barbara Boyer and husband Larry of St. Francis; mother, Ann Dickens of Mountain View, Ark.; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Wednesday, and funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Bro. Mike Book officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vance Turner, Stuart Turner, Leslie Beaver, Dennis Beaver, Nathan VanNada, Jim May. Honorary Pallbearers were Ronnie Neeley, Bobby Shanklin, and Randy Mikel. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Bernard's Hospice.
