Judy Brown, 57, of Piggott, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at the Piggott Community Hospital.

She was born Feb. 27, 1949, in Piggott, and was the daughter of Sheldon and Mary Helen Cosby Settlemoir.

Judy was united in marriage to Danny Brown on Jan. 25, 1976.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sheldon Settlemoir and her brother, Ronnie Settlemoir.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Brown of Piggott; her mother, Mary Helen Settlemoir of Piggott; son, Chuck Brown and wife Paige of Leachville, Ark.; grandson, Drake Brown; niece, Heather Lack of Piggott; nephew, Brian Settlemoir of Piggott; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Wednesday at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 1, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Piggott, with Mike Book and Danny Self officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard Rice, Jerry Williams, Alan Morris, Steve Hill, Austin Hartfield, and Heath Hooker. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
