Letha Kay Wallace, 51, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Piggott, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on October 20, 1955 in Rockfalls, Ill., and was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Ann Shaw. She was united in marriage to Gary Wallace on May 24, 1996.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. John L. and Randy Shaw, and one sister, Sheila Smith Shaw.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Wallace of Poplar Bluff; five children, Dawn Hopson, Eric Tippitt, Jennifer Wallace, Kristin Wallace, and Michelle Wallace; four grandchildren, who called her "Nana," Christopher Smith, Steven Hopson, Dillan Hopson, and Atianna Tippitt; three sisters, Judy Shaw, Debbie Stewart, and Sue Bradford; four brothers, Robert Shaw, Shawn Shaw, Gary Shaw, and Rick Shaw, mother-in-law, Cora Mae Wallace, and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial Service was held at 1:00 p.m., at the South Thornton Church of Christ in Piggott. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
