He was born Jan. 29, 1931, in Alabama and was the son of Wade and Florence Gibson Pridmore. He married Lottie Fay Book in Indiana in 1955. She survives. He was employed by Lance and served with the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict.
Others survivors include a son, Kenneth Ray Kitchen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Debra Darlene Albritton of Hull, Ga.; a son, Dennie Jeffrey Pridmore of Campbell; brothers Buddy Pridmore of Chicago, Kenneth Pridmore of Ripley, Tenn.; sisters, Ann Seratt , Sheila Bradford, both of Halls, Tenn., Dean Faulkner of Camden, Tenn., Bessie Hodge of Ripley, Tenn., Helen McCollum of Chicago; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Pridmore.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 1, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Brother B.J. Teer officiated. Burial was in the Brigham Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randell Book, Michael Baker, Kenneth Kitchen, Herb Turner, Steven Kitchen, Joe Keen, James Newman and Kenny Pridmore.
