Grace Jeanie Hickerson, 78, of Campbell died on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

She was born June 16, 1928, in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Thomas Frank Dalton and Flora Mae Carr Dalton.

She was united in marriage to Horace Grady Hickerson on Oct. 9, 1948, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1987.

Mrs. Hickerson was a homemaker. She was a member of the Campbell General Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter Number 92 of Campbell.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Dalton; and one stepson, Ronnie Hickerson.

Survivors include one daughter, Jeanie Mae Wagoner and husband, Jerry, of Holland, Mo.; two sons, Horace Grady Hickerson Jr. of Blytheville and Thomas Frank Hickerson of Spanaway, Wash.; one grandson, J.D. Wagoner of Holland, Mo.; two stepsons, Leroy Hickerson of California and Patrick Hickerson of Australia; one stepdaughter, Christine Upchurch of California; 11 step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2006, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with Pastor Earl D. Dell officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell was in charge of the arrangements.
