Emma Katherine Book, formerly of Piggott, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, in Lake Orion, Mich.

She was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Vincennes, Ind., to the late Fred and Althea Chambers.

She was united in marriage to Amos Book on Jan. 15, 1945. He preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1990.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Chambers; and one sister, Thelma Cooley.

Survivors include her sons, Richard (Jackie) Book and Robert (Dianne) and their daughter, Sherry Book, all from Oxford, Mich.; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
