Johnnie Lee McCullough

Johnnie Lee McCullough, 75, of Hot Springs died on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, in a Hot Springs hospital.

He was born on Aug. 7, 1930, in Webb, Miss., the son of the late Wilson W. McCullough and Jewell (Scott) McCullough.

He attended Sulphur Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Williams and Mayedeon Turner; one son, Johnnie Allen McCullough; and his first wife, Gloria McCullough.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Bradshaw) McCullough of Hot Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry Joe and Lisa McCullough of Nashville; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Greg and Teresa Allen of Arkadelphia; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet Lee McCullough and Mark Freeman of Hot Springs; two stepdaughters and one son-in-law, Diane and Walter Smith of

Magnolia and Meredith Ann Caver; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilson E. and Martha McCullough of Stoutsville, Mo., and A.J. and Sue McCullough of Ellsinore, Mo.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Edwin Dahlgren of Poplar Bluff and Lena "Totsy" and Ira Causey of Piggott; one grandchild, Daniel McCullough; two stepgrandsons, Jeremy David Allen and Will Smith; and one great-grandchild, Andrew Caver.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2006, in the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs with Bro. Eric Ivy and Dr. Walter Smith officiating. Burial followed in Morning Star Cemetery in Hot Springs. Active pallbearers were Ira Causey, Mark Freeman, Greg Allen, James Bradshaw, James Adams and Daniel McCullough. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Jack and Betty Parker, Glynn Freeman, Dr. Timothy Webb and Genesis Treatment Center and Maxie Haynes.

Caruth-Hale Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
