Joe McMillon, 71, of Frisbee, Mo., died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Heritage Nursing Center.

He was born on March 9, 1934, the son of the late Floyd Grover McMillon and Thelma Pearl Dabbs McMillon.

He was united in marriage to Dortha Mae Huffman on May 6, 1950, in Paragould.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great-grandson; two brothers, Alvie and Almos McMillon; and one sister, Wanda Lee Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Dot McMillon of Frisbee, Mo.; two sons, Pat McMillon and wife, Cammie, of Elsberry, Mo., and Nick McMillon and wife, Susan, of St. Charles, Mo.; one daughter, Jackie McMillon of Frisbee, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2006, in the McDaniel Chapel at Kennett with the Rev. Hubert Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway. Active pallbearers were Nathaniel Sanchez, Craig Beckmann, Michael McMillon, Sean McMillon, C.W. Yordt and Wade Moellering. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Young, Matt Eubanks, Davie Eubanks and Eddie Eubanks.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway.
