Thelda Carleene Pemberton, 92, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at Piggott Community Hospital.

She was born on July 25, 1912, the daughter of Andrew and Millie Ellen Parrish.

She married Ora Pemberton on Oct. 6, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1989.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pemberton was a farmer and a homemaker. She was a life-long member of Mars Hill Methodist Church at Crockett.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning with Rev. Don and Ida Hewett officiating. Burial followed in Mars Hill Cemetery at Crockett. Pallbearers were Kevin Hardin, Keith Hardin, Donald Grissom, Kenny Grissom, Junior Jackson and Darvin Stow.

Ermert Funeral Home of Corning was in charge of the arrangements.
