Mrs. Teachenor was born on June 24, 1934, at Tyler, Mo., the daughter of the late James Carl and Elva Cleo (Boggs) Brummett.
She was a wonderful homemaker but worked outside the home for 25 years at Bussman Fuse Company of St. Louis. She served her Lord many years at Riverview Gardens Baptist Church in St. Louis. At her husband's retirement in 1958, she moved back home to Fagus, where she became a member of the Fagus Baptist Church until she moved her membership in 2005 to New Hope Baptist Church at Pollard.
On June 20, 1953, she married Charles Eugene Teachenor at Pocahontas. He survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J.D. and W.A. Brummett.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Stephenia Crowder and husband, Terry, and two grandsons, Zachary and Matthew Crowder, all of St. Louis; two sisters, Louella Hale and husband, Charles, of St. Louis and Colleen Osborn and husband, Charles Gail, of Corning; one sister-in-law, Joann Brummett of Pahrump, Nev.; many nieces and nephews, several friends and a very special friend and caregiver in her final days, Helen Casteel.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Rev. Loy Culver and Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial followed in the Qulin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Zachary and Matthew Crowder, Randy and Roger Baxter, Keith and Jeffrey Osborn, Mark Hale, Jamie Teachenor and Scott Williams.
Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church in Pollard.
