Reva Graddy, 88, of Piggott died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.

She was born Oct. 2, 1917, in Morganton, the daughter of the late David Washington and Mary Ellen (Pike) Whaley.

She was united in marriage to Jerald Graddy on Oct. 7, 1939. They had one daughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Graddy; and one daughter and son-in-law, Patsy Farner and Rip Farner.

She is survived by two brothers, Chartee Whaley and wife, Shirley, and Willard Whaley and wife, Stella, all of Piggott; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Rev. Jack Cole officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vance Whaley, Larry Holcomb, Kevin Adams, Ronnie Graddy, Lester Edwards and Michael Graddy.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
