Born in Oran on July 30, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry Mobley and Myrtle Jane Eskridge.
She was united in marriage to Ray Haywood, who preceded her in death on May 11, 1967.
She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Memphis City Schools and a member of the Second General Baptist Church of Malden. She was also a member of the senior social clubs at the Lewis and Peabody Centers.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert "RC" Haywood; one granddaughter, Tammy Darr; one brother, B.F. Mobley; one sister, Alice Parks; and one son-in-law, Ronnie Koeller.
Survivors include one daughter Uvyonne Koeller of West Memphis, Ark.; one granddaughter, Tonya Serda of Memphis; and six great-grandchildren, Jill Bankston, Kaylynn Carmikle, Allison Bankston, Kristin Carmikle, A.J. Darr and Brittany Carmikle.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 10, in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel at Malden with Rev. James Black officiating. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of the arrangements.
