She was born Sept. 14, 1913, near Pollard, the daughter of the late William Kirby and Eva Laura Peck Easterwood.
She was united in marriage to Myrl Davis on July 25, 1931.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrl Davis; three brothers, Marvin, Bradley and Doyle Easterwood; four sisters, Marie Alexander, Mildred Davis, Mamie Jones and Wanda Smith.
She is survived by two sisters, Florene Blankenship and husband, Jim, of Pollard and Wilma Carruth and husband, Walter, of Jonesboro; brother-in-law, Mack Smith of Pangburn; sisters-in-law, Helen Easterwood of Corning and Nina Easterwood of Sun City, Ariz.; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Rev. James Davis and Rev. Gerald Davis officiating. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard. Pallbearers were Dennis Davis, Randy Mikel, Troy Banning, Bradley Dunlap, Luke Palmer and Fred Scheffler.
Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
