He was born on May 9, 1926, in Jonesboro. Mr. Davis was of the Church of God faith and was a retired farmer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was united in marriage to Pearl Sauls Adams on Jan. 18, 1960.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Sauls Adams; three sons, Paul Davis and Vernon Davis of Piggott and Bobby Davis of Greenville, Mo.; three daughters, Donna Roberts of Gideon, Mo., Brenda Huckelberry of Piggott and Karen Davis of Paragould; a sister, Berthie Sellers of Jonesboro; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2005, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin with the Rev. Wayne Gilmore officiating. Burial followed in Brown Chapel Cemetery.
White-Sanders Funeral Home of Qulin was in charge of the arrangements.
