James Ray Chadwick Moore, 63, of Rockford, Ill., died on Sept. 19, 2005, at his home.

He was born Feb. 24, 1942, in Rector, the son of Claude and Opal (Johnson) Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Opal (Johnson) Moore; and his stepfather, Ernie Dorris.

He is survived by his son, Justin Akre of Rockford, Ill; uncles and aunts, J.D. and Nelda Chadwick of Rector and Rev. Mike and Faye Chadwick of Piggott; a special cousin, Pat (Helen) Chadwick of Rockford; cousins, Bill and Oral Chadwick of Wisconsin; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation and time of remembrance was held on Monday evening, Sept. 26, 2005, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rockford. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
