She was born on Feb. 7, 1931, in Piggott, the daughter of the late John and Lora Thrasher.
She was a shoemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Cullum had lived in Lake City for five years, previous to that she resided in Pheonix, Ariz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.J. Cullum; one brother, Bruce Thrasher; and one sister, Lora Wagster.
She is survived by one sister, Maye Ann Hatch of Hot Springs; one brother, Richard Thrasher of Chula-vista, Calif.; two sons, Douglas Cullum of Harrisburg and John Smith of Pheonix, Ariz.; three daughters, Judith Holt of Lake City; J-Uan Giadone of Pueblo, Colo., and Janila Yaw of West Memphis, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott with Rev. Charles Cooper officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery.
Gregg Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of the arrangements.
