Stephen Maulden

Stephen Maulden, 50, of Kennett, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at University Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Sept. 27, 1954, in Piggott.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Duanita Maulden; his grandparents, Carl and Violet Beatrice Beck, who raised him as their son; and one brother, Wesley Beck.

He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Judy Lampston; two brothers, Carl Beck Jr. of Rector and Charles Beck of Nimmons; seven sisters, Bonnie Raney of Beebe, Brenda Hendley of Nimmons, Diane Thomas of Topeka, Kans., Charlene Schleuder of Denver, Anna Kay Williamson of Wappapello, Mo., Paula Dailey of Leachville and Carlotta Morrison of Paragould; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Donny Morrison officiating. Burial followed in the Nimmons Cemetery in Nimmons. Active pallbearers were Brett Palmer, Terry Palmer, Gary Redmon, Mike Morgan, Nick Dailey, Wendal Raney and Roger Beck. Honorary pallbearer was Adrian Horton.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
