Larry Gene Moore, 57, of Piggott died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.

He was born Oct. 4, 1947, in Kennett, the son of the late Joe Cecil and Jane Hill Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Moore, Joe Harold Moore, Lloyd Moore and Kenneth Moore; two sisters, Charlene Moore and Patricia Moore; his grandmother, Roxie Moore Brent; and his grandfather, Austin Moore.

He is survived by three sons, Larry Don Arnold of Piggott, Christopher Moore of McDougal and Joshua Moore of McDougal; one daughter, Lori Moore of McDougal; two grandsons, Logan Foster and Austin Moore; two granddaughters, Mercedes and Halee Arnold; three sisters, Donna Hinkson of Memphis, Suveda Mozingo of Rector and Brenda Scheffler of Fredericktown, Mo.; four brothers, William Moore of Piggott, Robert Moore of Success, Rick Moore of Rector and David Moore of Piggott; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Charles Smith officiating. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard. Pallbearers were Derek Scheffler, Dusty Scheffler, Porter Stow, D.J. Moore, Jason Moore, Ricky Moore and Jessie Moore.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
