She was born Feb. 27, 1930, in Piggott, the daughter of the late William Elmo Day and Belle Dickerson Day.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Davidson on Dec. 21, 1946, in Piggott. They had three children. Mr. Davidson preceded her in death on March 12, 1997.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, James Henry Davidson; one sister, Mary Thornberry; and one brother, Homer Day.
She is survived by one son and a daughter-in-law, Larry and Suzette Davidson of Jonesboro; one daughter and a son-in-law, Sue and W.C. Doyle of College Station, Texas; one sister, Flora Harvell of Grandin, Mo.; one brother, Junior Day of Morehouse, Mo.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo., with Rev. Roscoe Gray officiating. Burial followed in Stanfield Cemetery.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of the arrangements.
