Mary Etta Hardin

Mary Etta Hardin, 87, a resident of Rector Healthcare, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005.

Born Aug. 13, 1917, in Greenway to the late George and Cynthia (Williams) Sanders, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Piggott.

She was married June 2, 1934, to the late Jewell Butler and was married April 8, 1939, to the late Delmar Lee (Dude) Hardin. Both preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by eight sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Jewell Sale of Flint, Mich., and Deanne McKenney of Rector; one son, Paul Hardin of Mountain View, Mo.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Dona Wood of Franklin, Ind., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 29, at the Rector First Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Book officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Hardin Hill, Harold Speer, Clovis DeMent, Ralph Featherston, Garland Holcomb and Johnny Schmidt.
