Anna Mae French

Anna Mae French, 80, of Piggott, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, in St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born November 7, 1924, the daughter of the late George Franklin and Minnie Frances Carlson Fisher.

She was united in marriage to James Leroy French on January 26, 1946. They had three children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leroy French; one daughter, Carol Ann French; and one sister, Mary Elizabeth.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Schulte and husband, Chuck, of Piggott; one son, Hal French and wife, Carla, of Piggott; four grandchildren, Joe Don Schulte and wife, Beth, Brian Schulte, Misti Sanders and husband, Brent, and Staci Bohr and husband, Eric; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Bohr and Coleman Schulte; three sisters, Dolly Poole and Agnes Moore, both of Piggott, and Alene Wood of Atlanta; one brother, Earl Fisher of Piggott; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2005, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Charles Carrens and Kevin Murray officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott. Pallbearers were Joe Don Schulte, Brian Schulte, Brent Sanders, Eric Bohr, Don Wood and Roger McKenney.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
