Flora Berniece Russell, 74, of Leachville, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born in Boydsville, the daughter of the late Ezra and Edna Morrow Gordon.

She had lived in Leachville for more than 40 years and was retired from Brown Shoe Company. A member of the former Liberty Hill United Methodist Church near Rector, she attended First United Methodist Church in Leachville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Russell; and three sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Gordon of Piggott, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, in the chapel of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville with Rev. Donnie Hudson officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery.
