Connie Bell Easterwood, 75, of Piggott died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at Murphy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Piggott.

Mrs. Easterwood was born Jan. 22, 1929, the daughter of the late Labron Franklin Keller and Lilly Francis Thompson.

She was united in marriage to Joseph Fields, who preceded her in death, and later to Floyd Kenneth Easterwood, who now resides at Murphy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Piggott.

In addition to her late husband, Mrs. Easterwood was preceded in death by one son, Glen Edward Fields; and three sisters, Lilly May, Elizabeth Francis and Addie May.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd K. Easterwood; one son, James Fields of Paragould; one step-son, Kenneth Easterwood of Nashville; one daughter, Patricia Penn of Dexter; and one sister, Emma Bell Howard.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, in the chapel of Irby Funeral Home in Piggott with Bro. Bill Newman officiating. Burial followed in Cummings Chapel Cemetery at Pollard. Pallbearers were Ed Thomas, Rusty McPherson, James Murphy, Kevin Murphy and Robert Howard.

Irby Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
