Don Settlemoir, 66, of St. Francis died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in the St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born Dec. 29, 1937, in St. Francis, the son of the late Orla M. and Ada Boyd Settlemoir.

He was united in marriage to Carolyn Brown on April 11, 1968. They had two children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Settlemoir.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Settlemoir of St. Francis; one daughter, Melanie LaDawn Midkiff and husband, William, of Piggott; one son, Anthony Boyd Settlemoir of Campbell; two grandchildren, Jessica Lauren Midkiff and William Chase Midkiff; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Loy Culver and Davey Winberry officiating. Burial followed in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ed Wood, Eugene Brown, Leland Dees, Eddie Benbrook, Steve Hooten and Bob Wagster.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
