Edmon A. Johnson, 77, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Piggott, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, in Paducah.

He was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Piggott, the son of the late Jimmy and Delcie Boshears Johnson.

He was united in marriage to Jean Kathrine Davis. They had one daughter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, on Feb. 7, 2004; two brothers; and two sisters.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Jernigan; two grandchildren, Nicholas Weber and Nichole Taylor, all of Paducah, Ky.; three brothers, Fred, Vernon and Lloyd J. Johnson; one sister, Willie Randal; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Joe Payne officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
