She was born July 9, 1914, in Piggott, daughter of William Orley and Alda Hennager Cox.
She was united in marriage to Glover Bradford on Feb. 9, 1935. They had five children. She was a member of the General Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Ladies' Aid. She was employed by the Piggott School system for 16 years in the cafeteria.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son; and four brothers, Doyle Cox, Delbert Cox, Dorris Cox and Randall Cox.
She is survived by two daughters, Ella Jean Mack and husband, Clarence, of Piggott, and Linda Benson and husband, Dan, of Tyler, Texas; two sons, Joel Bradford and wife, Rita of Little Rock, and Melvin Bradford and wife, Jackie, of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Genevieve Hill of Greenway; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday), June 23, at the General Baptist Church in Piggott with Joe Payne officiating.
Pallbearers were James Featherston, Mike Hill, Kris Pollard, Phil Pollard, Terry Pollard and Gerald Morris.
Burial was in the Piggott Cemetery with Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott in charge of arrangements.
