He was born May 12, 1920, in Corning, the son of the late Columbus Lee and Eva Janes Miller.
He was united in marriage to Ann VeenKant on Aug. 11, 1967.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of Piggott; nine children, James Lee Miller and wife Donna of Kennett, Samuel B. Miller of Pollard, Charles Miller and wife Robin of Kennett, Minnie Williams and husband Joe of Kennett, Roxie Calder and husband Lowell of Clarkton, Mo., Jennie Williams and husband Randy of Springfield, Ill., Eva Russell of Trumann, Harold Murphy and wife Pauline of Clarkton, and Bobbie Jo Bergman of Fenniville, Mich.; three brothers, J.M. Miller of Fenniville, Mich., Hurbert Miller of Little Rock, and Hank Cassinger and wife Mary of Coon Island, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel, with Joe Payne officiating.
Burial was in the Redenbow Cemetery in Corning with Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott in charge of arrangements.
