She was born Dec. 12, 1915, in Pollard, the daughter of Arthur and Minnie Belle Bennett.
She married Doyle Presley in 1934. He preceded her in death. She married Noel Roach in McDougal on Oct. 14, 1938.
Mrs. Roach was a devoted Christian and a past member of the Post Oak Baptist Church in McDougal.
For many years she worked from her home as a seamstress/upholsterer and after her years as a counter clerk with Artway Cleaners, they became a major customer of hers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, R. Louise Schneider; a brother, Brice Bennett; a sister, Thela Kaiser; and a granddaughter, Anita Presley.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Noel; her children, Charles D. Presley of Adrian, Mich., Neoma A. Robinson of Ypsilanti, Mich., Raymond N. Roach of Findlay, Ohio, and Keith E. Roach and wife, Judith, of Monclova, Ohio; two brothers, James Bennett and wife, Mildred, of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Dredman Bennett and wife, Myrna, of Corning; two sisters, Lucille Downey of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Syble Fields of Ann Arbor, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Doris Garver of Jonesboro and Edna Potter of Piggott; one niece, Sue Bell of Piggott; and one brother-in-law, Earl Roach and his wife, Jan, from St. Charles, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2004. Burial followed at Washtenong Memorial Park.
