Imogene Gray

Imogene Gray, 81, of Sedalia, Mo., formerly of Piggott, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, in Sedalia, Mo.

She was born April 16, 1922, in Van Buren, Ark., the daughter of the late Johnny Earl and Pearl Parrish Graddy.

She was united in marriage to Marion Henry Gray on Oct. 11, 1941, to this union two sons were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Henry Gray in 1997; and one brother, Jerold Graddy.

She is survived by two sons, Aaron Gray and wife, Jane, of Sedalia, Mo., and Caroll Gray and wife, Ellen, of Rozet, Wyo.; five grandchildren, Becky, Carrie, Michael, Kristy and Patsy; five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Scott, Samuel, Samantha and Katelin; six brothers, Troy Graddy, Hullon Graddy and Jimmy Graddy, all of Piggott, Bobby Joe Graddy of Bowling Green, Mo., J.E. Graddy of Conway and Alion Graddy of Fredericktown, Mo.; three sisters, Geneva Gray of Piggott, Juanita Williams of Piggott and Earlene Williams of Troy, Mo.; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Richard Akins officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott. Pallbearers were Linuel Graddy, Ronnie Graddy, Sam Williams, Sam Williams, Jr., Sam Keichline and Jacin Hammett.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
