Tony Pace of the Piggott RodRun and SuperCruise group presents Mayor Gerald Morris with a commemorative photo compilation last week in front of city hall. Joining in the ceremony were Brian Schulte and Chuck Schulte. The group is recognizing a number of civic leaders for their work during the ice storm, and Morris is the most recent to be honored...

DHS employees receive commendations (04/30/09)
Two Clay County Department of Human Services employees received commendations for their service in the wake of the Jan. 27 ice storm that left most of the county without power. Along with the absence of utility services, many found themselves without means of transportation due to downed trees and power lines, which meant the danger of doing without necessities...

(what is now Print City, next to the community center) The company makes small parts from powdered metals, and expects to make shock absorber parts for the new Monroe plant at Paragould when it's completed...
