Taylor Covert of Piggott (center) was crowned Miss Pollard 2008 from a field of 40 entries. First alternate was Katy Strickland (left) of Piggott and second alternate was Sarah Fannin of Rector. The field of contestants included both last year's Miss Piggott and Miss Clay County (Fannin) and this year's Miss Piggott Amber Rose Moore.
