2008 Summer Reading Program

The first session of the 2008 Summer Reading Program was held on Wednesday, June 4th. Special guests were Paula Blackwell from the Piggott State Bank, Emma Gookin (Paula's granddaughter) and Bonnie Davis (the balloon lady). 70 kids and 45 adults enjoyed songs, stories and balloons. Everyone got a gift bag from the Piggott state Bank and a goody bag from the library

My name is Ann Clayton. I am trying to find any information on my family members who have resided most of their lives in the Piggot and Rector area. I have no idea where to start and would appreciate any help. My dad's name was Junior Lee Clayton. These are the names of my uncles and aunts: Andrew and Jane, Eramel and Lizzie, James and Barbara, Annabel Speaks, Mary Thacker, and Virgie Walker. My grandmothers name was Ivy Ona Clayton Dempsey.
