The first session of the 2008 Summer Reading Program was held on Wednesday, June 4th. Special guests were Paula Blackwell from the Piggott State Bank, Emma Gookin (Paula's granddaughter) and Bonnie Davis (the balloon lady). 70 kids and 45 adults enjoyed songs, stories and balloons. Everyone got a gift bag from the Piggott state Bank and a goody bag from the library

The next session will be on Wednesday, June 11th, and the special guest will be Brian & Terri Kinder. All programs start at 11:00 a.m.
