The Piggott Lady Mohawks will play at noon Tuesday, Oct. 28 in the first round of the 3A state volleyball tournament at Harrison. The Tribe will take on the Wildcats of Episcopal (Little Rock) in the first round, the second place finishers in 3A-south.

With a win on Tuesday the Lady Mohawks will advance to take on the Cave City Cavewomen at noon on Wednesday in round two.

If the girls can get by the Cavewomen they'll likely face the Falcons of Crowleys' Ridge Academy in the semi-finals..in a game that will be played at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30.

The winner of that match will advance to Saturday's state championship match at Conway High School with a 1 p.m. start time.

Based on the lower half of the bracket there is a good possibility that two-time defending state champion Brookland will advance to the final...and that could set up an all 3A-Northeast championship game against either the Lady Mohawks or the Lady Falcons.
