Just wondering why you changed the online Piggott Times? Just giving feed back.. there is very little information
now online. Who do we need to contact to get the Piggott Times back online like it was?? We just had our 25 year class reunion last summer and so many of the class mates keep up with Piggott by the online news. This is very disappointing...
Sincerely
Todd Litzelfelner
Thanks

Todd,
First off, I want to thank you for your comment. Reader response is what is going to make this site so much better than the last.
Posting a comment like you've done is the best way to offer feedback, and, for good or bad, we genuinely appreciate what you have to say. User input will be invaluable as we continue to develop the site.
At first, it may appear there is less here, but you'll actually get more content than the old site provided after we implement more features. Your classmates not only will be able to keep up with the latest news, but they'll also be able to view local videos and photo slideshows and follow current events in the calendar (which will no doubt include your next class reunion!).
Please bear with us as we learn this new system. We promise there's more to come!

Todd:
One thing you need to understand is that this site is a "work in progress". We are in the process of adding new items every day.
I guess my question at this point is this -- what is there about the new site that you don't like compared to the old site?
Ron Kemp
I liked the old Piggott Times Online fine. I espically miss the guestbook, which I read each week. It was a great way to connect with old friends.
Thanks.

This may be a work in progress but so far the old was much better.
Todd and others,
Good news! We've created an entirely separate blog for use as a discussion forum so site visitors have a place to Speak Out. Now you can read and post comments on a number of topics. You particularly might be interested in the "Classmate Connection" topic. Look for the new forum here:

I enjoy your new web page. Lots more information available. Good work. I recently made comments about Piggott and its namesake Dr. James A. Piggott (available on google). This was in response to many inquiries.Find a place for brief history. I have been gone for 58 years and enjoy keeping up with what's happening.

I live in California and left Piggott in 68 for service, but subscribed to the Times ever since to keep up with the community and friends.
I got my 7 May issue on 15 May so I was glad to hear of website. I like it.
I retired from USAF after 36 years service in 2006. I hope to get back to Piggott soon.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks again,
Lou Webster
I was in piggott over the weekend and renewed my subscription. I spoke with Tim about the new website. And once it is complete I think it will be great.
After reading the negative comments, I felt that I had to provide a positive comment. Our grandson's picture was in last week's paper and we were able to email a link to his uncle in another state to view the picture and article rather than cutting out the picture and article and sending via snail mail.
Way to go! with the new site.
Thanks for your reply both Brad and Ron,
I didn't know the website was still under construction and was just getting a head of the game. I just really enjoy keeping up with Piggott through the online Times. I especially enjoy reading the old articles, what a great idea. I didn't realize until my class reunion how many people got most of their information from the Piggott Times. I just wanted this to contiue to get better and I appreciate your responding, so Thank you for all your hard work and lettins us all enjoy keeping up with Piggott like this.
Thanks
Todd
I may be a little slow to respond, but as I get older and wiser, it seems that everything I do is a little bit slower (okay, maybe a lot slower!). I would like to thank the staff at the Times for this little on-line publication. I fondly remember growing up in Piggott and like to keep up with the goings-on. Keep up the good work!
